Back story: The Spooks Fan Blog was tentatively launched onto the internets in February of 2010 by its commander in chief, Officer Skully. Thanks to the rapid rise of a loyal and enthusiastic following, within a few short months the blog had outgrown its humble abode at Blogger. On April 21, 2010 the site was relocated to its current home at SpooksFanBlog.com, using the infinitely more accommodating WordPress platform.

What’s it all about: The Spooks Fan Blog is often silly, sometimes serious, but never boring. It’s all about good humour, good fun and meanderings into nerdy territory as well (otherwise known as reading too much into things). If you’ve come here looking for the latest news and scoops you might be somewhat disappointed. While I endeavour to relay new intel concerning the show, it is not the primary purpose of this blog. I’m not particularly concerned with being on top of the latest Spooks gossip. I am presently living in Australia and season nine of Spooks has not been aired here yet. Consequently, I don’t presume that all the readers of this blog will be in the loop – why should they miss out on the fun? Spoilers are a drag, so if you comment on this blog, please observe the comment policy.

Personnel: SFB is written by yours truly, Officer Skully. I have been a Spooks enthusiast since the very start. It has always been one of my favourite shows. Since season 7 however my fandom has reached new dizzying heights. As a writer and blogger it was inevitable that my occupation and affection for Spooks would join forces and reach this logical conclusion. Obviously, I’m a bit tragic.
