Hi Spooks Fans!
My name is Kathryn and I’m currently trying to find contributors for a short internal film to be viewed by staff here at The Shine Group. We are creating the film to showcase the values and impact of global Shine output through audience experience and connection and one of the things we’re interested in is finding super-fans of Spooks with an extraordinary passion for the show. I came across the forum yesterday and was delighted to read many great things about the series!
The film we are making is intended to be a light-hearted and honest portrayal of our audience’s views of the shows we produce to highlight the dedication and creative excellence of those involved in our productions, and to show our staff why we do what we do as a company.
We’d love to hear from people who are SUPER fans, what is about the show that has inspired you? What makes you a super fan? Anyone with an interesting, quirky story to tell – Tell us how Spooks has changed your life!
Please get in touch if you would like to share your passion for the show on film and to let our staff know what it means to you as an audience. This is not limited to the UK, we would love to hear from everyone – Worldwide!

Apologies. The subject of this blog airs its last ever series and I go AWOL. What can I say? Life happens. And sometimes so much of it happens that there is little room for extra curricular activities like this. So please accept my apologies for not responding to your comments, emails and general participation in all things Spooks. I am tempted to declare that the Spooks Fan Blog is going on an indefinite hiatus but I’d rather keep things open for now. Maybe I’ll post again soon, maybe I won’t. Let’s wait and see. Hope everyone is well. xox

Well, you’ve been googling this question for the past 6 MONTHS, and now we can finally answer it. When will Spooks go to air? The answer is on September 18, which is a Sunday. It will go up against Downton Abby, apparently, which seems to have caused a bit of stir.
For those who are desperate for Spooks news, if you haven’t been following me on Twitter, you’re missing out. I don’t recommend that you rely on this blog for the latest info, as I say on the about page, that is not the primary function of this blog. As air date approaches I tend to withdraw a little from the online chatter because I prefer to watch a new series without having heard any teasers or spoilers about it. Given that I live way down here in Australia, I can avoid all the hype in Britain.
To keep informed I strongly suggest joining the Spooks Forum where you can be the first to hear the latest news and join in the discussion as each new episode goes to air. Happy Spooking!
I mentioned this on my twitter feed but it’s worth repeating here on the blog. In case you haven’t heard, Kudos, the makers of Spooks, are having a one day only sale of Spooks props. Whether this marks the end of the show (as the filming for series 10 comes to a close) or they’re just clearing the decks, who knows. Someone please snag me a piece of a spooky memorabilia! Hmmm, let me see, I’d like the William Blake prints from Lucas’ flat, Ros’ leather jacket, Harry’s whisky jar, ooo that BAG Ros walks away with from her own funeral, Ruth’s desk lamp, Tariq’s bike helmet, Jool’s Wagner collection, one of Danny’s polo knits… I could go on. Just to be clear, this is a props sale, which may or may not have goodies like I’ve just mentioned. The details for the sale are below. Would love to receive a report from anyone who checks it out, I wish I could go!
