I don’t know about you lot, but after last week’s multi-blog Richard Armitage Fanstravaganza, I’m all RArmitaged out! I think it’s time for a geek retreat.

Your geek for today is Colin Wells.

Poor Colin. Stuck out in the field due to a staff shortage, he met an untimely and terrifying demise in 5.1. If only he were as agile in the field as he was around his gadgetry. In the Spooks world, when it comes to geeks, it seems you’re either one or the other; all geek or all action. I think it’s time for Spooks to smash the geek ceiling and collide the geek stuck on the grid type and the in field action hero type, and create a character who can swing it in both worlds; a super spook, if you will. Think Colin Wells and Adam Carter or Lucas North combined (…regain your composure geek lovers) – I’ll leave you to compute the implication.

Perhaps some in the field action is in store for Tariq in season nine?
