In the lead up to Spooks 10.1 this Sunday, I thought it might be fun to spend some time with Ruth and Harry before we learn how their story is going to end (or begin?). So I hereby declare this to be RUTH & HARRY WEEK on the Spooks Fan Blog. Let’s start with this sneaky footage of Nicola Walker and Peter Firth during filming for Spooks 10. It was uploaded to YouTube on June 5, 2011. Caption says “They weren’t shooting a scene, they were just walking down the street as friends between takes. Nicola had just arrived. SO cute!!”

31thirtyone will be offering 31 photographic portraits for auction from November 1, including one of Nicola Walker, aka, Ruth! (There’s a couple of Sinead Cusack and Lesley Manville for the North & South fans out there). All proceeds are going to charity, here’s some info from the 31 website:
“31thirtyone is a charitable photographic project with the aim to take 31 portraits in as many days. this year, all the photographs will take place during august. this will prove to be not only a logistical, but a photographic challenge too. The resulting photographs will be put together as a physical and online exhibition, running concurrently later in the year. there will be a limited number of prints of each portrait, plus a special one-off signed, mounted & framed copy, which will be put on public auction. All proceeds from these sales will be donated to this year’s nominated charity – crohns & colitis UK (NACC)”
